PhotoPass Previews Now Available on My Disney Experience App

If you recently updated your My Disney Experience app you might have noticed a change when it comes to PhotoPass photos. Now guests using the app in the theme parks can see previews of their PhotoPass pictures.

Guests can't use the app to purchase any of the PhotoPass pictures but when viewing the preview pictures you are given the option to purchase the Memory Maker for $199. Memory Maker allows guests to download all of their PhotoPass pictures in addition to photos taken on Disney Parks attractions.

And if you're wandering through the Magic Kingdom wondering where those PhotoPass photographers are hanging out, you can now check the My Disney Experience app's map to locate the photographers.

Currently the updated version of the My Disney Experience app is available in the Apple App Store but the Android version will be released soon.

Will you be using the My Disney Experience app to view your PhotoPass pictures during your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation? Let us know in the comments.

Really cool feature, but $200 is too much! I will be happy to take anyone's photo for free!

While still a touch pricey, adding Memory Maker to your plans before arriving at Disney saves a bit of money, at $169. I do plan on using Photopass/Memory Maker when a friend and I visit in late January 2016.
My other secret is to borrow/steal pictures and videos that I find around the internet of the rides and attractions, (for my own use only) Many times they are better quality than I could take. (with better equipment than I could afford).
