If you're planning on celebrating New Year's Eve at the Walt Disney World Resort several of the theme parks have special events planned for Saturday night. Guests at the Magic Kingdom can celebrate on Friday and Saturday night.
Epcot's New Year's Eve celebration includes DJs spinning tunes from 7 p.m. until 1 a.m. in Future World at the Future World Fountain Stage, in China with flame effects and a smoke-billowing dragon, in the United Kingdom, in Italy with Euro pop and lasers, in Japan, and in the American Adventure Pavilion.
IllumiNations will be shown twice on New Year's Eve: at 6 p.m. with the holiday finale, and at 11:40 p.m. with a countdown to 2017.
Disney's Hollywood Studios is celebration with a DJ dance party at 7 p.m. that includes a countdown to midnight and fireworks. Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! will be performed at 9 p.m. and Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular is planned for just after midnight.
Guests at the Magic Kingdom can celebrate with the Fantasy in the Sky fireworks on Friday night at 11:50 p.m. and again on December 31. The Holiday Wishes New Year's Celebration starts at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights, with a New Year's Eve countdown on Saturday night.
If you're celebrating at home, you can catch the Fantasy in the Sky fireworks on New Year's Eve at the Disney Parks Blog starting at 11:45 p.m.
And finally, if you're visiting Disney Springs you can enjoy the Starbright Holidays | An Intel Collaboration at 7 and 8:30 p.m. at the West Side waterfront.
