Disney's Animal Kindgom Lodge is trialing a new program that will give guests an in-depth look at the animals at the park as well as a taste of African cuisine. "Dine with an Animal Specialist" will let guests spend some time with an expert caretaker of the animals at the Kingdom and also give them lunch at one of WDW's most popular restaurants, Sanaa.
Interested? Here's what you need to know. Currently, this program is on a sixteen-week trial and can only be booked in person at the front desk or concierge at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Limited to just twelve guests per day, the program will run each Wednseday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Expect to pay $49.95 for guests 10 years and older and $29.95 for the 3-9 year set for the four-course luncheon. An 18% gratuity will automatically be added, plus $5 of each reservation will go to Disney's Worldwide Conservation Fund.
