Halloween fast approaches, and with it comes a surge of popularity for Disney villains. The Disney Parks Blog put together a top ten list of sorts - ten villains for guests to catch up with during this season at the parks. See how many of your favorites made the list!
- Headless Horseman: no head, a glowing jack-o-latern atop a huge, galloping horse? Check, check and check. Catch this classic villain during special appearances during the Magic Kingdom after-hours Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.
- Maleficent: never mess with an evil queen who can turn into a dragon and set a river on fire. See this villain from "Sleeping Beauty" at Disney's Hollywood Studios nighttime epic show Fantasmic!
- Captain Hook: There's something especially chilling about a villain who is bad to the bone but with an air of sophistication. See "Peter Pan's" Hook in all his glory during Dream-Along with Mickey at the Magic Kingdom.
- Ursula: Those glowing eyes and slithering black tentacles can give you a good case of the willies. Get your own case this Halloween season at the Voyage of the Little Mermaid in Disney's Hollywood Studios.
- Jafar: Look for this classic "Aladdin" villain slinking down the street in the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade at Magic Kingdom.
- The Queen: Snow White's nemesis comes alive and adds another level of eerie at DHS's Fantasmic!
- Governor Ratcliffe: Fantasmic! sure has its share of bad guys, just like the selfish governor from "Pocahontas."
- Lady Tremaine: Cinderella's stepmom. Need we say more? Be on the look out for her near Cinderella Castle.
- Lotso: Who would ever think a pink stuffed bear could be so mean? The Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear from "Toy Story 3" can be seen in the Pixar Pals Countdown to Fun! Parade.
- Gaston: So he may not seem to be a classic villain (and we understand he has some great vittles to share in the new and improved Fantasyland), but there's no denying his power as an antagonist in "Beauty and the Beast." Catch up with Gaston in Beauty and the Beast " Live on Stage at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and beginning this fall, you'll actually have a chance to meet him when he begins making regular appearances outside Gaston's Tavern in New Fantasyland.
Which villains are on your must-see list this spooky season at Walt Disney World?

I wish you could aways catch them! I always thought that once in turned dark out, and the 'older' crowd is at Disney, the villains should be seen wandering the parks! It would be cool to see The Evil Queen in one of the back corners of the castle doing a meet and greet, or Jafar lurking by the carpet ride, or Brer Fox & Brer Bear by Splash Mountain. Villains, in my opinion, are always the most fun to meet!

Meeting Lady Tremaine and her daughters was one of the best parts of our time at Magic Kingdom! She was so much fun to interact with.
