Themed Weekends Planned For 2012 Flower and Garden Festival
Even though January isn't even half over yet, plans are in full swing for this year's upcoming International Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot. Concerts, displays and special activities are all on tap for the festival, and Disney has planned some themed weekends to take place during the event. Here are those weekends' dates and highlights:
- March 23 - 25, 2012: Art in the Garden Weekend. This weekend promises to combine nature and art, including "plein air" artists and their works. Check it out at the World Showcase.
- April 13 - 15, 2012: Disney's Animal Kingdom Specialists. The experts will be on hand to meet with guests and impart their vast knowledge, especially about indigenous insects. Look for them at the Festival Center.
- April 27 - 29, 2012: Florida Federation of Garden Clubs. Come to the Festival Center to see arrangements that defy description.
- May 4 - 6, 2012: Fresh from Florida Weekend. Florida certainly has a wealth of bounty to offer and this weekend will showcase all that the Sunshine State has to offer at the Festival Center.
The 2012 International Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot is set to run from March 7 through May 20.

Woo! Thanks for the info! We are planning to be at Epcot on April 29th.
It's been a few years since we've been there during the F&G Festival so really looking forward to seeing it again :)
