College football fans can buy tickets now for the 10th annual MEAC/SWAC Challenge Presented by Disney.
The Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) football game featuring the North Carolina A&T Aggies of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) and the Alabama A&M Bulldogs of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) will be played at the University of Central Florida (UCF) on Sunday, August 31.
The game is the first meeting between the two universities.
More than 20,000 fans are expected to attend the MEAC/SWAC Challenge. The weekend celebrates the contributions of HBCU's and their alumni.
"With its celebration of diversity, football and HBCU heritage, we always look forward to the MEAC/SWAC Challenge," said Nancy Gidusko, director of Corporate Citizenship for the Walt Disney World Resort. "But as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the weekend's events here in Central Florida, this year promises to be even more fantastic."
The game will be played at the Bright House Networks Stadium for the first time, as the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium is undergoing renovations.
The MEAC/SWAC Challenge will be broadcast on ESPN during the opening weekend of college football.
Tickets can be purchased at www.meacswacchallenge.com or by calling 800-745-3000.
