May 1st was also National Golf Day and Disney Golf took the opportunity to add a little more Disney magic to its world-class courses. Golfers will now find adorably themed refreshment carts inspired by beloved Disney characters at "Disney's Palm, Disney's Magnolia, and Disney's Oak Trail courses, you'll see refreshment carts with designs inspired by Mickey, Minnie and Goofy, and at the Lake Buena Vista course there's a Mickey-inspired cart."
Spring is the time that there are always a few new additions to the Walt Disney World family. A charming little Cinderella Pony named Lilly, after Walt Disney's wife, was born in March. Lily is the first white Shetland pony ever born at the Tri-Circle-D Ranch at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Eventually she will grow up to help pull Cinderella's carriage for wedding or parades. Until then guests can get a peek at this cutie in the Fort Wilderness show pasture.
Over at Disney's Animal Kingdom the cast is celebrating the birth of a baby western lowland gorilla. The baby girl has been named Grace, after the GRACE gorilla sanctuary in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Mom and baby can be seen bonding onstage in the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail habitat.
HalloWishes has been a staple of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party for 14 years. This year the party will debut a brand-new nighttime extravaganza. The new show will feature state-of-the-art projection effects, lasers, lighting and dazzling fireworks as a spooky story is woven about how anything can happen on Halloween night. "The show will take guests along on a trick-or-treating adventure, where four friends - Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy " find themselves drawn into a mysterious haunted house."
Are you ready for some of the hottest new foods being served up at Walt Disney World? The Sorcerer's Hat 30th Anniversary Treat has been a hit since it hit the pastry case. Our friends over at the DFB gave one a try and you might want to read their review before getting your heart set on this hard to get sweet.
Disney published a Foodie Guide to Villains After Dark that showcases all the sinfully decadent treats that await guests of this After Hours event. Disney's best-loved baddies are set to host a limited number of guests, wicked enough to mingle, at an exclusive soiree series. There are just 10 nights of darkly magical fun, so gear up in your most fiendish fashion and join the fun at Villains After Dark.
If you are a regular user of PhotoPass, you need to know where the Top 10 Magic Shots are at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Magic shots are a fun way to enhance your vacation photos with surprise appearances by beloved animated Disney characters. Be sure to ask your PhotoPass photographer if you can get in on the animated action.
Finally - Disney is making a trip to Cinderella's Royal Table a little more magical, when you add on the Signature Celebration Package. Reservations are limited and highly recommended for this special add-on that includes a personal welcome by the Prince and Princess, a glass of sparkling wine, a gift of Cinderella-inspired confections, reserved "Happily Ever After" fireworks viewing in the West Plaza Garden and indulgent sweets at the After Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace. The new Signature Celebration Package costs is $199 plus tax and gratuity for per adult.

LOL! Me too, especially since that also means that I Passed In Review at Orlando Naval Training Center 30 years ago. I couldn't possible be old enough for that to have happened.
