If you're thinking about spending Father's Day at the Walt Disney World Resort with your dad, you'll find more than just four theme parks for fun and adventure. From fishing to golfing to dining and yes, even a spa day for dad, there's something for every dad.
At Disney's Animal Kingdom dad can enjoy the Wild Africa Trek, a three-hour guided tour through the savanna where guests can get a close up view of the animals in their natural habitat. Midway through the tour the trekkers get to enjoy a savanna-view meal with African-inspired food and beverages.
The Wild Africa Trek is $189 to $249 per person and can be booked by calling 407-WDW-TOUR.
If fishing is dad's favorite pastime, Disney World has several options for his special day including a guided fishing excursion on Bay Lake. These excursions are available in two- or four-hour catch and release trips that include all fishing supplies. Reservations can be made by calling 407-939-2277.
Maybe dad just wants to spend a day on the links. If that's the case, Disney World is home to three 18-hole championship golf courses and a 9-hole walking course. Or the whole family can practice their putting at Fantasia Garden Miniature Golf.
The Walt Disney World Resort is also home to two full-service Senses Spas where dad can be pampered with treatments including sports massage, reflexology, or a Swedish massage. Reservations can be made by calling 407-939-2277.
You can always treat dad to a great meal at the Walt Disney World Resort but if you could combine bowling and great food that's even better. And you can, at Splitsville Luxury Lanes in Downtown Disney. While you're visiting Downtown Disney stop by the new Art of Shaving or Sosa Family Cigars and treat dad to a Father's Day gift he'll love.
