Walt Disney World Resort Offers Guests Fun and Festive Events for the Fall 2014 Season

As you bust out the beach blankets and sunscreen you might not be ready to think about fall, but it's never too soon to plan your post-Labor Day vacation to Walt Disney World.

Disney has a lineup of fun fall events planned beginning September 1 with the very first Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the season.

This annual Halloween hard ticket event runs for 26 nights from September 1 through October 31 and features trick-or-treating in the Magic Kingdom along with Mickey's Boo-to-You Parade and HalloWishes. Tickets are available at Disneyworld.com/Halloween.

Also in early September, the 32nd Disney's Night of Joy returns to the Magic Kingdom for two nights, featuring big names in Contemporary Christian music. The event is September 5 and 6, and tickets are on sale now for either one or two nights.

Beginning September 19, the 19th annual Epcot International Food & Wine Festival kicks off for a record 53 day run. This culinary festival features tapas dishes served at the Marketplace booths, including the all-new Patagonia Marketplace that showcases Argentina and Chile.

Guests visiting during the Food & Wine Festival can also experience culinary demonstrations with celebrity chefs, wine tastings and mixology seminars, and the Eat to the Beat concert series each weekend.

For the most up-to-date news and information about the Epcot Food & Wine Festival be sure to visit the Disney Food Blog's 2014 Epcot Food and Wine Festival Page.

This year also marks the fifth anniversary of runDisney's Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon. The race is sold out but there are still a few spots available in the runDisney Kids races on November 8 and there are still tickets for the Disney Wine & Dine Pre-Race Taste Party at Epcot.
