In a move that many believe signals big changes at Disney's Hollywood Studios, two theme park vice presidents have swapped roles. Magic Kingdom vice president Phil Holmes is trading places with Disney's Hollywood Studios vice president Dan Cockrell in the next month.
Holmes has been vice president of the Magic Kingdom since 2001, overseeing the Fantasyland expansion a few years ago. His experience with major projects such as the Fantasyland expansion would make him the right person to lead an expansion project at the Studios, if in fact that is what's coming.
Cockrell has been vice president of Disney's Hollywood Studios since 2011 and served as vice president of Epcot before that.
We think it's a good bet that any expansion plans at Disney's Hollywood Studios (including a name change) will be announced at next month's D23 Expo during the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts panel.
Do you think this job swap means big changes for Disney's Hollywood Studios? Leave us a comment and let us know.

I think changes are needed but not all at once. When the hat came down it was all over for Hollywood studios.
