A 29-year old woman from Windermere, Florida died after a three-car crash involving a Walt Disney World Resort bus. The crash occurred in the early morning hours on December 15 in front of Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Amelia Davis was attempting to make a left-hand turn on a red light from Western Way onto Buena Vista Drive when she pulled in front of the bus. Her car was struck on the left side by the Disney bus and the crash pushed her car into another vehicle.
The crash occurred around 1 a.m. on December 15. Davis was pronounced dead at a local hospital. No one in the other vehicle or any of the 20 passengers on the bus was injured.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
