Do you dream of coming back from a long day at the Disney Parks and slipping into a luxurious bath? Soothing those sore muscles or just indulging in a bit of pampering is one of my favorite things to do on my Walt Disney World Vacations. Baby Zebra Born at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge

A new female Hartmann's mountain zebra foal has been welcomed by the heard that makes its home at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Phoenix arrived on May 6, 2020 and is the second foal born at the resort this year. Her name was chosen by the care team as a symbol of strength and renewal as Walt Disney World moves forward in this difficult time.

Looking for a great way to spend some time while enjoying Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge? This Disney Deluxe Resort has a wide variety of cultural programs that give life to the beautiful setting. On my last visit to Walt Disney World I stopped by the lodge to take a Culinary Tour of Jambo House's restaurants Jiko and Boma.

Dinner At Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Victoria Falls Lounge

One of the most surprising meals I had on my last Walt Disney World vacation was dinner at Victoria Falls Lounge at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Victoria Falls is named for a spot on the Zambezi River that is easily one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. Billed as a place to "sample suds from South Africa" the booze flows much more readily than Disney's version of the waterfall. I recently stopped by not only for a drink, but a quick meal at this often overlooked location.

Inspired by the flavors of India and North Africa, Sanaa dinners are treated to an up close view of the Sunset Savannah, which features Giraffe, Bongo, Impala, Thompsons Gazelles, Ostrich, Ankole Cattle, Waterbuck, African Crowned Cranes, and Blue Cranes.
