Agust 2-8

I know we're practically flooding the boards at this point, but we love DisneyWorld and would be thrilled to meet up with others who share that, especially if they are in the relative same age group as us, during our honeymoon. (Relative age group would be under 40 or so - not that we probably wouldn't get along with older people either - not that you're old -- I'll shut up now).

Well I just turned 40 last month so I guess I'm too old for the meet-up. wink

The first week of August is way too hot and crowded for this old timer.

Oy. I am marrying this guy?

I am not as picky as teacherdrama.

I would like to meet up with anyone. Well ok, not anyone over the age of Mike Scopa (of WDW Today), but he remembers all of the events that are shown in Spaceship Earth, so I don't think that is possible

There are plenty of folks hanging around here who are of Mike Scopa age or lower.

I would love to meet Mike Scopa.

Mike Scopa, I would love to meet you.

I would add to certain smartasses (pardon the language) that when you are a DISNEY nut, you are much like Benjamin Button. The older you are, the YOUNGER you act. (course that may just be because we've lost our minds buying all this junk....)

And to this date, I've refrained from reminding certain "whippersnappers" that there is no such month as Agust.

TYVM.

Mouse Traveler would never be a smart ... aleck. Hopefully teacherdrama and catie know we're just giving them a hard time. Besides as MT points out maybe pixie dust just has a degenerative effect on the mind?

I didn't mean the ACTUAL age of Mike Scopa. I love Mike Scopa and many people older than him. I meant the made up age. Because if you were really over 4000 years old, it would probably be kinda hard to walk, or talk, ot even type...

laugh No kidding! Seriously, though, I love hanging out with people who know all the Disney insider stuff. There just seems to be such a rich history to the Disney brand. I'm always excited to learn more.

I think it's hilarious how MT has morphed into a geriatric Bob Iger over the past few days wheelchair biggrin

You all got me -- we'll meet anyone. To be honest, I just figured those older wouldn't want to meet US! But hey, what do I know?

Plus, I'm an English teacher, so Agust -- geesh. Smile

Anyone going to be there then though?

Anyone? Bueller?

I had a friend who was a big fan of theirs. I prefer the original Come on Eileen!

I was always a bit torn. Always loved the original, but I knew of Save Ferris when they were a local band playing junior colleges in California. I saw then at the Palace in Hollywood with Let's Go Bowling in 1997. Ben Stein was there to introduce the band.
