Hello! We are flying from Michigan to Orlando on Sept. 30th. We are using the Magical Express and all Disney Transportation to get around The Worlds. I booked directly on the Disney website and am using the Free Dining Plan. We are booked for the Port Orleans French Quarter for our stay. We have a five day park hopper (using it Mon-Fri).
Sunday is our fly in day and a non park day. We are hoping to be checking in at the French Quarters around 3:30pm and will head out to the boat to Downtown Disney for a light lunch. We have ADR'S are Planet Hollywood for dinner and intend to spend the rest of our time shopping.
Monday we are going to the rope drop at Animal Kingdom and have ADR'S for Brunch at Tusker. I took advantage of the discount for the Wild Africa Trek to book an early afternoon Safari. My s/o doesn't know about the Trek so this will be a fun surprise. We went ziplining last year over the Bay of Fundy in Canada, so I'm confident she will make it over the rope bridges.
Tuesday we will spend most of the day at Epcot with lunch ADR'S at Via Napoli. I am still looking into the new Segway tour and might book that also.
Wednesday we will spend the majority of the day at Hollywood Studios and might hop back over to EMH at Epcot.
ADR is lunch at the Sci-Fi Drive In.
Thursday is the Magic Kingom and we have tickets for that evening for MNSSHP. We have ADR'S at Poly for a late lunch and will probably return to our hotel to change into our costumes before making our way back to MK. For our costumes we are dressing up as Chef's. Our hats say "Gusteau's" and our hats will have little Remy's (from Ratatouille) sticking out. My apron will have fake veggies velcro'd in it and AJ'S will have fake cheese and grapes. We both have a fake fronted cookbook that is from the movie stating "anyone can cook". We thought these would be cooler & easier to navigate on and off the rides. (I'll post pics when they are done).
Friday is a "free day" - to go where ever we need more time at.... with dinner reservations at Les Chefs De France at 5pm with hopes of catching Remy's table presentation! I'm considering hopping over to the Poly in the evening for the lighted boat parade and this wonderful sounding drink I've heard you all talk about, the Lapu Lapu.
Saturday we have a non resort morning to enjoy , perhaps last minute gift shopping and we'll take the Magical Express back to the airport in the afternoon.
We both tend to be plain eaters and while many other ADR's looked inviting these menu's seemed to be a good fit
for both our appetites. I've never been to the Wine & Food Fest so we will be doing some grazing through Epcot for
some variance outside our food comfort zone
