We have to split next week between the in-laws and have to get up early on Christmas day to fly cross-country. Not looking forward to that travel scene! Anyone done the Christmas travel before, or are you doing it this year?

I traveled the day after Christmas last year and it was fine. Christmas day, I imagine, would be all right too. Wouldn't want to travel on Christmas eve, though.

AGREED! Stay where you are on Christmas eve if at all possible.
We haven't had to much trouble traveling around Christmas, but we're usually in the car, so don't have to deal with flights.

Yep! We'll be in the air with you, admin. Not looking forward to all the travel, but what can ya do? At least I don't have to worry about wrapping presents until I get there!

Hi,
The only time I ever spent Christmas away was in 1993 when my mother and I went to Fairfield, CA to visit my aunt and uncle. This year, with two feet of snow on the ground, I'm staying home.

Yeah, I'd stay home if I were in the Northeast too.
