I like the old, take a screenshot of a coworker's desktop then assign that image (.bmp or .jpeg, whatever) as their desktop. They can see all their icons and the start menu (on a PC), but they can't click ANYTHING. Not hard to figure out, or fix, but it usually gets them for at least a few minutes.

That's pretty hilarious. I probably wouldn't figure it out for a LONG time.

It works great, but requires access to their computer. Another real fun one for those that have an internal mail system is to send someone a few dozen messages from their console to themself, certified AND acknowledged! What happens is they get all the messages, plus one message for each confirming it was sent (certified), then one more every time they read (or delete biggrin ) one (acknowledged). The more they delete, the more flood their inbox. It can also be used as a friendly reminder to log out (or lock, et al) their console. It's not hard to fix, but it's very frustrating when you've been deleting the messages (from yourself) for a few minutes and the number of messages in your inbox keeps climbing.

I'd have to figure out what to do with all of the icons currently on their desktop! This might be too tech-savvy a joke for me to pull!

Did anyone play any other April Fool's jokes on Thursday?
