Congratulations TeacherDrama and Caitiesus!

Noticed on the other thread that you guys are leaving today to start prepping for the wedding and wanted to start a congrats and good luck thread! awesome

It's been really fun watching you prepare for your wedding and honeymoon; I wish you all the best and look forward to your trip reports!

(Also glad you'll be online for a few more days -- it'll be great to hear about all that last-minute preparation stuff. DW's excited to hear about it, too...she loves that kind of thing) mickey

Being married is the best thing that ever happened to me. There is nothing like having that special someone to share your hopes and dreams with, and to support you when things aren't going well.

Thank you so much everyone! Both of us were so amazed when we found this site how NICE everyone is, and this just proved it!

My future mother in law just ran down the list of things we need to do during the upcoming week - it's a LOT, but we do have some down time that we'll be spending online! Tomorrow is light - just making the tables. Easy, right? crossfingers

I guess it kind of depends on how high maintenance you guys and your families are. I had a friend who just about had a breakdown because he left it til the day of the wedding and the bride was basically vetoing every proposed configuration. Of course you guys are wisely tackling it with time in advance. wink

I'm not anticipating many problems. I'm pretty easy going, so there's not going to be a whole lot I'm going to have any problems with!

Got through seating - had more of a problem with figuring out numbers than matching people -- it actually wasn't bad at all.

And, from what I hear, Caitie has her dress (I had to be locked in a bedroom while it came into the house)

Haha - not really, but I was forbidden from leaving the room until the dress was shown to Caitie's dad and then put away and out of sight.

Congratulations! I hope it is truly magical and FUN!!!!! No stress......this is not the most important day of your life. (That was the day you decided to marry each other!)

And I would like to add that it is great to see so many of you guys saying how great marriage is. Lots of people gripe about their spouses and it's nice when people praise their spouses and are thankful for them.

DH and I got married a year ago and I agree that it is great being married. (Of course, I made a great choice of spouse!) I think we will still be happy when we are old and gray wheelchair ...not too long from now? wink
