Do You Watch Any Old T.V.?

So we watch pretty much nothing but old TV now. With the sole exception of Idiot Abroad and the occasional NBA game, we watch 2 shows:

Newhart
Three's Company

You guys watch any "classic" shows?

I thought I was the only one who watched the old stuff. I do watch both of them and The Golden Girls. I pretty much watch nothing but TV Land when I watch tv. I even like the older old stuff better such as I Love Lucy and The Dick Van Dyke Show. And, if I can find an episode of it, Mr Ed just cracks me up.

I still love Dick Van Dyke, but I've watched every episode so many times that I don't usually watch it any more. Mr. Ed never really did much for me though.

I like to watch "The Nanny" and "My Wife and Kids" because when they originally aired I was too young to find them funny. Now I think they are hilarious. Of course I also enjoy "Green Acres" and "The Beverly Hillbillies." My son and my dad have a date every Saturday night at 7 to watch the original batman with all the "Kaboom" and other words appearing on the screen like a comic book.

Yay! Batman is my favourite. I love it when Adam West does the "Batusi" dance. rolling

I just updated my TVs not that long ago. Before that my TV was ancient.

So glad you had the Batman gif!

So we're just about "done" with Three's Company and I'm kind of bummed. We're looking for another completely non-stressful show to watch but we're stuck.

I want something with likable characters but no real "conflict." Newhart is the perfect show but we're saving that to watch while we eat dinner. "Who's The Boss" is the closest I've come so far, but the characters aren't quite likable enough. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Sort of old - Frasier has become a nightly addiction. That show is so flippin' funny. And my daughter LOVES The Wonder Years, and I can still watch Happy Days. And of course, Seinfeld. There just isn't much current that we watch.

Family Ties... I see so much of myself in Alex P. Keaton that I am addicted to it.

We were watching that for a while. It's a good show but sometimes the plotlines are too stressful. We like vapid entertainment. Smile
