ESPN Club

I'm rethinking my meals for Sunday while at Disney. Currently I have a breakfast ADR at Cape May Cafe and dinner (after my friends arrive) at Hollywood & Vine. I'm not sure I want two buffets in one day, and I still have one credit for lunch.

I have full days scheduled for Friday and Saturday. I'm thinking of just having a relaxing morning with breakfast at Pop and then go to lunch elsewhere. It is football season afterall and the Steelers are playing at 1:00 that day. How busy does ESPN Club at the Boardwalk get during football season?

I would like to know that as well... im not 100% sure what were doing when we get to Disney, and its on a Sunday... and I know the Boardwalk could be an option and if so... I wanna hop in there for a bit... watch some football and eat some wings... then go to dinner at Whispering Canyon... lol! So id love to know as well.

Wow - great idea! I hope someone weighs in. We were on property a few years back and wanted to catch the Georgia-LSU game that was on...we hopped in the car and headed over to Chevy's at Crossroads (course, the margaritas and chips were a draw as well, now that I think of it...) - I didn't even think of ESPN. But that would be a pretty cool place to catch a game, I'm thinking.

I found some information on the Disney Food Blog. AJ mentions to arrive early on game day. I asked her how early is early. I'll keep checking back for a response and let you know.

ESPN club can get crowded especially during big games. Many times we have gone to Disney together, and left my husband and son at ESPN while the girls and I head to EPCOT, then meet after the game. The food is traditional sports fare, but pretty good. It can get loud, especially the bar. Last time we were there my son had to run in and check the score because of the roar that we heard as we walked by - someone had scored! The bar is really busy during a game, especially a big game. Since there's no adrs, just get there early and plan on waiting in line. Depending on the time, the wait isn't too bad between lunch and dinner, but they get busy in the evening. We usually have to wait but never too too long, even if the line is long. We ate there one new years eve and got in pretty quick. If you have to wait in line at the door, the guys can go in and wait in the bar to see the game. Does that help? I'd recommend it anytime, it's a fun place. We've been there many many times.

There was a big line tonight for the FLorida St /Oklahoma game. It has actually been busy all day.

I'll bet it was super busy earlier today for UF-Tennesee.

Thank you Julie. Do you think 11:30 is a good time to get there for a Sunday game starting at 1:00?

that should be good, possibly before the lunch rush, although it's hard to tell. Have fun and ENJOY! clapping
