Holy Moly!!! I've missed so much... I'm glad everyone is on the mend.
Member of the 6 castle club and working to pay for my next Disney vacations: 1/5-10/18, September 2018 for my 50th and 2018 the year of Disney cruising.
Final tests came back....no cancer!
Recovery is very slow...but its only been a week....
I think by next week we will be on the up-swing of things...
As slowly as it's going, I'm sure recovery is so much better for knowing there's no cancer. So happy to hear that good news.
Fantastic news MM

Yay! That is awesome news! Now Amy can focus on her recovery.
Great news.
Fantastic!
Slow recovery is still good. I'm sure a clean report is a huge weight off for both of you, and I hope the recovery picks up speed until everything is back to normal again.

Time marches on. Eventually you realize it's doing it across your face.
congrats on the test results being clear - look forward to things getting better now
best of luck to Amy in her recovery!
Great news!! Stay strong Angie & Amy! All of the hard work recovering will be worth it when you get to take your next Disney trip
Be good at something. It makes you valuable. Have something to bring to the table because that will make you more welcome. --Randy Pausch

Great to hear the good news.
That is the best news!!!
Wonderful! Recovery can be a pain because your mind says "Go!" and the body says, "Whoa!"

"George Banks and all he stands for will be saved. Maybe not in life, but in imagination. Because that's what we storytellers do. We restore order with imagination. We instill hope again and again and again." Walt Disney
Thank you everyone!
We just had the 2nd week check up...
catheter removed
can't say enough good about that!
She did have an allergic reaction to the glue they used
after the staples were removed poor girl !
So now she has additional water blisters and ouchies by her
incision...
other than that- healing is going much better
In a weak moment of an emotional break down-
she told me how much it meant that I had been home
to take care of her ...she said "I should take you to Disney"
Well who am I to say no to a sick, recovering from major surgery patient????
And she can't blame it on the drugs because he is pretty much off them!
Oh. My. Goodness! Catching up here, so in order...
1. I feel your pain/cold/freezing. Winter was brutal here in the frozen tundra of northern NY too. I was beginning to wonder if it would ever end.
2. Your poor mom! Happy to hear she's on the mend. Good thoughts for her continued health.
3. Give Daisy some cuddles from me and my furry gang.
4. Much love and healing vibes to Amy! I have also experienced double, large diameter cysts (with torsion. OW!), the full surgery, and the wait for the results, so I can definitely sympathize! She's past the worst part of it now. Tell her to take it easy. She's certainly blessed to have your support, there's really nothing better for healing than a loving partner.
Side note: DH and I will be in WDW next October for our 10-year Anniversary. Not sure about the exact dates yet. But, if we happen to be there at the same time, we'd love to meet up!
Thanks TiggerBelle ! Glad you have also healed thru your ordeal!
We don't have dates for next Oct. yet either.... waiting on some work obligations to
iron out....but absolutely! If we end up lapping- a meet up is in great order~
Glad to hear things are looking up for you guys Magic Mirror! Every day will get better!
Oh, and you're right to NEVER disagree with someone who says they want to take you to Disney!
Awww yay to no cancer! Must be such a huge relief for you xxxxx

Thank you! I see a light at the end of the tunnel. My PT told me not to be down about my progress. I always want it to be faster, but it is pretty amazing to come from where I was to where I am now.
Excellent Disneydoc!!!
