We made it! Slight delay with the flight was delayed an hour but everything else has gone smooth. Made it over to EPCOT and starting with via Napoli for dinner

Via Napoli was excellent!
Crowds are really light at EPCOT. We're in line for Soarin'. 25 minute wait, though we are using FP+.
Magic Bands are working really well for us. Love the convenience. No issues to report. I'm pretty impressed so far.

We designed our car at Test Track. Undecided whether we like the refurbed more than the old. We don't really get the customization part if you are riding with people who also customized their own car.

Oh, and our first glitch with the magic band. It did not work ast Karamel Kuche. Had to revert to the plastic card. This is one location where the placement of the magic band reader is really awkward. It's on the counter facing up, so you have to either bend you arm upside down to get it to touch the reader, or turn the band half way around your wrist so the Mickey is on the bottom of your wrist.
I am really happy that, as Mandy advised, all of the rides so far had readers on both sides of the FP entrance, so it was not awkward at all for Mr. Lefty here.
The bands are slick. I was skeptical, but am sold on them now. No fumbling for a card to open our room, used the FP, we even used it for dining. And much as I was lukewarm to the idea of FastPass + and scheduling ride times, I am super happy with the results and how it takes a lot of stress off for some key rides. Tomorrow we have FP+ for TSM, ToT and RnRoller Coaster.
It as pretty overcast today, and even sprinkled a bit. And we both thought it was a really good day. Not too hot, which was nice.
Tomorrow is HS day! Yay!!! And ressies at Sci Fi Dine In for lunch.

You can see how your car compared against the others in the various tests. I kinda miss going over the bumps and kind of feeling the heat and cold. But I love the last part! I'm glad your trip is going well so far!

Yeah, I agree about Test Track. I could care less about the customization thing. It doesn't have any effect on the actual ride so I don't get the point of it. I'd rather have the option to bypass that whole thing and go straight to the ride vehicle.
Now, if the customization allowed for a customized ride experience, that would be different!
Good to hear your opinion on the Magic Bands and FP+ and how they work in practice.
