Leaving A Present At A Resort...

Just a quick question here..We have made good friends over the pond via an old Disney web site and we were going to meet up but they had to rearrange their dates and we will now miss them by 3 days..I have bought them a scottish souvenir ( not a haggis ) and wrapped it up inside a small glitter box with a card attached to it with their family name on it and arrival date. They are staying at the Polynesian and we are going to the Tambu lounge one night for a LapuLapu..Would there be any problem leaving the present with the front desk .?.. confused

That you will have to ask when you get there. They may not want to take responsibility for the item since it was not bought on property. Also, how long between the time you would leave it and when they get there?

Becks left stuff for us at Wilderness Lodge, wedding parties do this all the time, so there is some provision for it. You need to do a couple of things.

1) Make sure that there is a tag on it that is clearly marked with the guest name and their check in date.
2) Wilderness Lodge temporarily lost our gift, they had it but it had gotten shuffled around. If I hadn't of known that it was supposed to be waiting for us and asked about it, we wouldn't have gotten it. You should let your friends know that you left them a surprise so that if it's not there they can have the front desk track it down.
