Manheim Steamroller Concert

Has anyone been to this concert at Universal? We have Florida resident passes for Universal but have only been once and that was mostly to see the Harry Potter attractions. We have never attended any concerts at Universal. Our Christmas light trip for Disney is planned for the first weekend in December and it just so happens that Manheim Steamroller is playing at Universal that Saturday night, December 1st. Would love to see them but I want to make sure it's worth giving up one evening at a Disney park. We will have three evenings and always want at least one night for the Osbourne lights and one for the Candlelight Processional. It's really hard to beat the atmosphere at Disney at Christmas and I don't want to be disappointed if I give up one night there for Universal.

I haven't been, but I have heard that they put on a good show, and their Christmas music is phenomenal.

Yeah, I've never seen them live but love their Christmas music. So I would love the chance to see it once,

I am sure they will be quite good! My problem is giving up an evening with my favs at Disney. Being Florida residents, we get to go to Disney often, which is good. However, it's usally just for long weekends which means only a few days and nights. Therefore, I have a tendency to pick my favorite things and never try anything new! We've been passholders for 7 years but have never gone to any of the resorts at Christmas to see the decorations there. I hear that is also spectacular but when you go for a short trip, there is just never enought time to do it all. This year, I really want to do something new so will discuss with my husband to get his opinion. We'll either do the concert or hit some of the resorts to view their Christmas decorations.

I have seen them but not at WDW. I saw them in an enclosed arena in Chicago - forgotten which one. They are very good and entertaining. Very high energy show. I think because we saw them in an enclosed arena - it was very loud. I know concerts are loud but this seemed to be louder than most but still was not unbearable.
I think it would be cool to see them again at WDW for me.

Is the concert part of the park admission? I will be there the same weekend. (Dec 1st and 2nd)

Yes, it is part of park admission as the stage is inside the park. Since I have never seen this show, or any other concert at Universal, I have no idea what to expect regarding crowd level.

Break out and do something new! stars

It doesn't matter of it's at Disney or Universal, there's so much waiting for you besides your favorites. I try to do at least one new thing on every trip.
