Monorail Crawl??

Has anyone ever done this?

like..just ride the monorail to all the stops and then got off? We have done it on the resort loop and the Epcot loop before. The resort loop we were just tired and needed a rest (I think we were early for an ADR at Chef Mickey's). One trip we weren't going to Epcot so we rode the monorail over "just to see it".

We have done halfhearted versions because we're not much for drinking, but it is great fun. It's REALLY great if you're staying at a monorail resort and can just go back to your room via the Monorail.

I did that when I was younger and still in business. Maybe if I cut out a couple of Jan's meds for a month I can do it again. Hey! It's a thought! laugh

JustCar -- are you guys considering the monorail crawl? I think it's a good evening activity. Also, it's especially nice if you take Disney transportation to and from the crawl and don't have to worry about driving.

Great way to see all the expensive monorail resorts!

We don't rent cars at Disney, just seems like a waste.

I think we might do the crawl beautiful resorts and good people.

JustCar -- Agreed. It's a great way to see some gorgeous resorts, and the CMs at the lounges in the monorail resorts are always top notch.

Bella -- Those lapu lapus are seriously packed with rum, eh?!?

I like visiting all those resorts, even if I'm not drinking. Visiting the lounges gives you a good excuse.

My husband and I attempted the Monorail Crawl back in April, but it was pretty much dead in the Contemporary and Grand Floridian.

We did get the Lapu Lapu at the Poly though. Our joke was that Lapu Lapu was Hawaiian for "knock you over!"

If you're going to do it, I would recommend right after dinner-ish because I think some of the lounges close around 10 p.m.
