If you are referring to Mousekeeping, we had a whole collection from two years ago, although to be honest, we didn't take the towels home with us. We notice that the one day my DH didn't leave a tip (we went to the counter later and found out her name and made sure she was given an envelope), there wasn't any knew ones there.
IF your son's room has something special on it...say balloons, or an inexpensive banner over the bed, mousekeeping will often do something. When we stayed at All Star Music, there were people with full door signs (the thin foil ones at the $ store) that covered their door, window stickies...the whole nine yards.
DH said they probably had kids but I saw them parading in and out and there were no little ones in the troop! Some one who just has to make it homey, I guess.
"At some point in life you have to decide if you're the Tigger or the Eeyore."...Randy Pausch
"George Banks and all he stands for will be saved. Maybe not in life, but in imagination. Because that's what we storytellers do. We restore order with imagination. We instill hope again and again and again." Walt Disney
We didn't have any towel animals last fall, except the Mickey on the bed when we arrived.
Really depends on the mouse keeper. We got a really cute elephant last year. We did bring it home and that's the first and only we have brought home. We do leave daily appreciation for our mouse keepers but that doesn't guarantee an animal. Never hurts to ask if you really want one the worst that can happen is you don't get one.
We got these at Pop just a few weeks back. Made me happy. And now they reside on the wicker shelves above our commode.
Cool crazycatperson ...Lol..Here's my favourite...Hopefully the right way up..
I give up...
You are truly one of a kind....does make my days waiting for your pictures. Always makes me smile.

I didn't think you were allowed to take home towels from the resort? I thought they charge you for missing towels, etc from the room?
Hmmm...Interesting, I've never heard of people doing this before.

Not towels. Just towel animals. And not the larger towels arranged like Mickey on your bed, just the little ones secured with rubber bands and covered with stickers. Those are yours to keep if you like.
Crazycatperson....really you can take those home? I never knew that. Boy I hope I get some great little ones in May.

Yup. They are yours to keep if you want them.
I don't remember towels but Blondie's animals were watching for her to come back one night!

"It seems to me that we have a lot of story yet to tell."
Last year at WL we got three very cute little towel animals. I didn't know we could take them home either but I will this year for sure! They always make me smile when I come back to the room and see them.
