Glad to hear you found a deal, although waiting until May seems like a long drought for you!
Is the a kiddo sleeping in the foreground of that pic? I was having trouble figuring it out but I think that's what it is!

Yes! That's a kid in the picture but not one of ours.
Well Jan is back in the hospital again. That's like our second home.Just like at Disney they say "Welcome home!" every time we walk through the door. Had to take her to the emergency room this morning. Turns out she has pneumonia.
Oh well. What next?

I'm sorry to hear Jan's back in the hospital and not feeling well I'm sending good thoughts and prayers that they'll get her fixed up soon and not too many treatments are missed! And I hope YOU'RE feeling OK!
That May trip came just in time. $68 is incredible
Keep us updated on Jan.

Yeah. Take care and don't let yourself get sick too! Tell Jan to get well soon.
Hey Joe! Still thinking of you and Jan and hoping she's feeling better!

Well not only does she have pneumonia but also kidney problems and picked up MRSA a blood infection.
The blood Dr. said she may have to have her infuser port removed but the other Dr. says she can no longer undergo surgery.
We just have to see who wins and pray it's Jan.
Thanks to all you new found Disney friends for your prayers and well wishes.
Joe
Joe, all our prayers and thoughts go out to youand Jan. Vettelover
We have you in our thoughts as well.
Also I'm intrigued about the kid that someone left laying around in the foreground of your picture.
Joe and Jan -- let us know if there's anything you need. We're praying for you over here!

Brought Jan home today. About 1 hr. ago. She is doing OK. Needs rest and quiet for a while. Never get much rest in the hospital. She has some issues but nothing she can't deal with. She's a trooper.
Since we are such romantics I want to share with you a song I sing to her. Remember When. I made this album a couple of years ago and posted it on another site which I am linking to.
There is a story line I posted to the song and it says it all.
Thanks again friends.
Joe

Best news I've heard all day!
Joe, you singing that song to Jan is just BEAUTIFUL!!! Glad to hear you brought her home.
Joe, glad to here Jan is out of the hospital and doing better. Hope she gets better quick so you make that May trip! I checked out your link, great job. That song has a deep spot in our hearts too, but for a different reason. I just posted a new thread and a link to a video Scrappy and I did several years back if you want to check it out. Our hearts and well wished are with you & Jan.

Jan is feeling some better now that she has been home a couple of days. She will never get better, just stay alive and have some good days and some not so good days. Her attitude is great.
What made our day yesterday was being able to change our reservations from All Star Music to Pop Century for May. We like the All Star group but Pop Century rules.
Have to take Jan to the Dr. now.
Later friends,
Joe

No offense to the All Star resorts, but that would improve my day too. So glad to hear she's feeling better!
Yeah, Pop Century!! Congrats, Joe and Jan! Disney World is the best therapy.

That really does look almost scary. Like Lady's trying to decide whether to eat Jan.

Is that before they cut down all the foliage Joe? It looks a bit different than the after pictures if I'm not mistaken.
See, that's the way to do it. Get everyone right next to each other so you cover lots of ground -- no strangers around and you can make as much noise as you want Looks like a wonderfully relaxing way to spend a vacation, Joe!

It was a wonderful time but it's over. Our kids are all hurting due to this recession, our grand kids are all in their 20s and have different intrests and little money. Now it's just Jan and I going on the Disney trips. For us it is still wonderful, just different.
Amazing how romantic 2 old folks in their 70s can be once in Disney World.
Joe
In the top pix Jan is in the middle of chemo.
