Port Orleans French Quarter question

We stayed here 2 yrs ago but cannot remember which buiding we were in. Can anyone who has stayed here recommend the best building that's closest to the Food Court but we don't want to be right next to the pool? Thank you.

I believe either buildings 3 or 4 will be the 2 closest to the food court area, but not right next to the pool. 2 and 5 are the ones that surround the pool.

We've stayed in 1 and 6, which overlook the Sassagoula River and were both extremely peaceful and quiet.

We loved Bldg 3. Its one building over from the food court but far enough away from the pool that you don't hear the noise. It was a quick walk to everything including the bus stop!

Jeff has it all right. We try to stay in 3, but just a couple of weeks ago building 3 was under construction/rehab so it is noisy and dusty. Depending on when you go that is something to consider. We stayed in building 1 this last trip.

I would call and ask then. Ask the front desk not Disney guest services, they will tell you for sure. I think their number is 407-934-5000 if I remember correctly. Then there is always building 4 if you want to be close. 2 and 5 are close also, closer then 1 and 7, you could also ask for 2 or 5 away from the pool. There are two sides to every building. lol I think those are the garden views so they will be an upgrade above standard. Does any of that make since?

Poppet - not sure if you have already seen this, but here's a website about Port Orleans and they have information about the rooms and locations, as well as maps of both FQ and Riverside. I have used it for info on when we have stayed at Riverside.

We stayed in 3 last year and it was very close to the lobby and the food court. I recall my TA telling me 4 was the preferred building b/c it's closer to the buses, but we found 3 to be just about perfect!

Best location to get to bus, food, and pool. Very quiet as well. Except for the unrelenting heat, it was a fabulous time.
