Wonderful!
Kris thank you for fostering!
Beautiful foster puppies. And how wonderful you're giving them a chance. We used to foster cats. Which is how we ended up with 19 cats at one point. Which is why we don't foster any more.
Edited to add: Kris, I completely missed the posts about your losing Willow. I just went back over the whole thread and found them. So sorry. I know how much she meant to you.
Thank you! Its been a huge loss in my life. I miss her every day!
Our little buddy Mister was diagnosed with diabetes last Thursday, four days after our 2 year old granddaughter Lily was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Both will be insulin dependant the rest of their lives unless there is a cure in Lily's life time. Mister although has some other issues that were found and we are just going one day at a time and going to enjoy his company with us.
We are used to the diabetes since our youngest son Adam has been Type 1 Diabetic for 30 years. The shots are nothing and Mister and Lily both are troopers getting blood tests and taking their shots. Hopefully Lily will get on the pump soon so that will help her immensely.
Thanks to all those that have been following and sending well wishes on facebook to Mister & Lily. But my biggest thanks goes out to Magic Mirror, your one in a million!
So sorry to hear about Mister, Mark. Hugs to you and Judy and the rest of your family and I'm sure we will have a cure in Lily's lifetime.
Look at that great picture of Lily - what a trooper! And I'm so glad to hear that Mister is doing well again too.
Thanks Kristen.
I am sending good wishes to you and your family. Lily is a beautiful little girl and hope things go well for her and Mister.
So sorry to hear about Lily and Mister being diagnosed with diabetes.
I hadn't had any experience with this disease until Megan's dog, Rascal, was diagnosed last year. At the vet's direction, we immediately put him on a regular food and insulin schedule and he is acting like his old self again! He actually gets excited when the syringe comes out because he knows he is about to get a treat (which is a regular ice cube with a splash of low-sodium chicken stock and a couple of his food kibbles frozen inside...you would think it was a piece of cake the way he jumps around!).
Best wishes and hopes for a cure soon.

awww..... shucks. ..thanks MrHub xxx
Sooooo many cute critters! Our cat, Ms. Kalhiah Meowivich, is a lovely tabby who is very affectionate and demands daily 'kitty cuddles' from me. She enjoys playing with balls of paper and will stand on her hind legs to give hugs!
Mr. Hub that granddaughter of yours is the cutest! What a trooper and the best smile ever. Sorry to here about Mister also. Hope both are doing well.
Good thoughts to Lily and Mister. She is a cutie.
Best to you and Lily and Mister, MrHub!!
If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.

Well guys, the day I have dreaded has arrived. My beloved Tiger, a tabby that has been with me for 15 years, has a recurrence of hyperthyroidism and kidney failure on top of that. Nothing really that we can do for him but love him up, and take him to the doctor when it is time to "go home."
It is so hard to watch him drop weight, but as long as he is still eating and purring, the doctor said he was not uncomfortable. I do not want him to hurt, and will make sure that he does not.
This is hard, but so many of you have walked this road already. His sister Gracie is standing by to love us all.
So sorry to hear that Disneydoc.
I'm so sorry, disneydoc. Poor baby. Fifteen is a good long life for a cat, and I know you've been a blessing to him as much as he has been to you, but that doesn't make this any easier. Love him lots and pet him once for me.
Sorry to hear that Doc, we will be thinking about you and Tiger.
thank you guys....I know that several of us have had to say goodbye to beloved furry family in the last few months, and I knew that you would understand.
I am grateful for him, and will give him lots of love, and his grumpy cat black furred sister too. She puts on a grouchy front but she loves her momma too.
What beautiful cats they both are. Tiger reminds me a little of our new kitten, and I'm especially fond of black cats.
Awww what beauty's they are! I'm so sorry, I lost my boy wilbur to the same things it so hard. Thinking of you xxx
