A question about coffee makers in the rooms

We love our coffee. In previous years we stayed at POP and mailed a cheapy coffee maker to our hotel before arriving. Now, we're upgrading to POFQ for our upcoming Dec trip. So, can anyone tell me anything about the coffee makers in the rooms? We are very specific about the coffee we love and want to take some with us to make in our room. Does anyone know the type of coffee filters the in-room coffee makers use? Yes, this is important to us as we tire of Nescafe quickly when visiting the parks.

I am sure every room we have been in has a Mr Coffee in it. They use the basket type filters. I believe that they are the smaller Mr Coffee coffee makers.

You can expect a 4-cup size brewer that needs a flat bottom paper filter. It has a glass pot. They don't give you filters in the room because the coffee they put in the room in prepacked inside a filter (think a round coffee teabag). The coffee offered should be the wolfgang puck brand, which isn't awful. "Cream" provided is powdered.

Hope that helps, and thanks for the reminder!

I feel your pain. When we stay, I'm usually up and out, looking for a decent cup elsewhere. I like the Contemporary's Coffee Bar, and most enjoy the Poly for coffee, if you do decide to venture out.

The basket type filters. That's exactly the information I needed!

Haven't tried the coffee at either the Poly or Contemporary. Plan on it one day when I can afford to stay there. My favorite place to get coffee each and every time is the Storyteller's Cafe at HS. It's never busy and it's always good. My husband is already talking about the place and how he wants to visit every day (hah!). Also hoping they have their wonderful carrot cake cookie again this year. Yum yum yum!!!

Oh YES! Awesome place for sure! Take pics though for us Smile...I missed the carrot cake cookie the last time I was in, since it was late. But what a terrific little place. I hope they never, ever close it!
