Okay, I just heard about this. Has anybody tried it? Does this really happen? Let me know,.. or I'll have to give it a try next time I get down there.
This was mentioned in another topic on this site, and someone raised the thought of how much of a problem this would be if kids all started yelling "Andy's coming!" every 15 seconds. I know that when I was waiting in line for Buzz and Woody next to Toy Story Mania it was a long line without any distractions like that. I wonder if maybe the toys have a rule about when they would need to do it. If they are outside in public then they are risking being seen by Andy, but if they are indoors they are in their "safety zone"?

2012-Contemporary Resort (Honeymoon)
2015- Caribbean Beach (daughter's first trip)
2017- Cabins at Fort Wilderness
It's been all over the internet for the past few days.
Even if it WAS "a thing" I would imagine it will stop in the very near future. The poor Toy Story characters would spend all their time on the ground!
I just got back from WDW last night and while I was there about 100 people sent me this telling me to do it while I was there. So, I got the scoop on it. Apparently they USED to do this, but now they are not allowed to... It's a safety issue, especially now that it's gone viral. This picture is spreading so quickly I feel bad for the cast members who are going to constantly be asked about this and the characters who will have "Andy's coming!!!" screamed at them over and over again. Lol!
Thanks for the info, Becky!

Thanks for the info, Becky! I feel bad for the characters and cast members too--I've had a few people recommend me to do it but I always thought it seemed like it would be a safety hazard especially if a lot of people knew about it--plus it would make the meet n greets take way too long!
