Depends on your age, but every year or two would be a safe bet. When we're young, our eyes are still growing and changing up to our mid twenties. When we get older, it's important to get checked for issues like glaucoma that can cause blindness.
Just found this (decent) video of the whole Toy Story Mania ride through. I don't think anyone's posted something like this on these boards before, so I figured I'd add it to this thread

I'm going to have to fight the urge to watch that...I don't want to have an unfair advantage. I need to be able to savor my victory. MWUHAHAHAHAHAAH!

Yes, but that's not what he'll claim on the board.
Though, I don't like losing (at anything, ever) I don't mind when my wife beats me. It makes it more fun, and there's no one I'd rather lose to. Besides, if I won all the time, she wouldn't want to play

This is probably true. You should tell your wife to start lifting weights -- I hear that Toy Story Mania cannon gives your biceps a workout

I've always noticed that when I play it twice in a row that I always do worse on the second game. I think it's a variety of factors, but part of it is arm fatigue.
On the whole "Does 3D work with one eye" well I tried this ride and it actually worked! I think the newer technology helps out with this. It isn't popping out at you 3D, it just gives the screen some depth and it worked perfectly for me!
Good news for people like me:)

It was...ok. It was NOT worth the 90 minute wait. If we had waited 40 minutes or less I bet we would have loved it, but after that wait and all the hype everyone has given it, it was a letdown.
He won on that one...but I kicked his butt on Buzz!

I don't think we've ever done TSM standby. I think we did during the "soft" opening and that was all. The big problem is I'm always ready to go again when I get off and that's an impossibility.

Ha! Poor you guys! Nothing's good enough for a 90 minute wait. I think I'd HATE WDW if I had to wait in summer lines for everything.

As I mentioned elsewhere, I think that's why I wasn't gaga over Soarin'. Wait was over two hours. Will get a FP straight away this time.

Such a good point. When the wait is long, the ride really offers "diminishing returns." Especially Soarin'. I get that they tried to make the queue "interactive," but to me...it's still boring!
