Universal Dining

My ds has a few allergies and I'm a gluten free vegan. Having been to Disney several times we never had a problem finding good food and no worries about allergies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How easy will it be for us to eat over in Universal? THNX

My guess would be not very easy.

Two years ago we went to Universal with my sister, who eats seafood but no red meat or poultry, and my niece, who is vegan. You know the drill, I'm sure - the niece ended up eating french fries as her lunch at least once. The whole family got the Great Feast at Three Broomsticks and my sister and niece ate the salad and veggies. At a table-service restaurant (the one at Islands of Adventure near the park entrance, not Mythos) sister was fine; niece special ordered a pasta dish without the meat and cheese and told the server she was vegan. When the dish came to the table, it was also missing some of the veggies because they're cooked with the meat. Server did not tell her this up front. The missing veggies were the reason she ordered that dish, so she was very disappointed and said she would have ordered something else had she known all she was going to get was pasta and red sauce.

THNX!!!!!! That's one of the major reasons we don't eat out much except at Disney.
