Villain Evil Queen & Ratatouille Christmas - in June !

So we never got to have Christmas 2013 with Amy's mom & step-dad. We were in Disney & when we got back, we found out her step-dad's cancer was back. They had to start intensive chemo & he had a lot of immune problems. He's been sick for months, then Amy got sick & ended up with her surgery....so today we finally got together & had our Christmas. Santa

They came over to our house for lunch and we put on Christmas music, put up a 2 foot Charlie Brown tree & nativity scene and had a toast. biggrin

Amy's mom is the best MIL ever. She always takes time to find out what you really like, what you collect, what your tastes are..and spends all year looking for neat little gifts to pack in our Santa stockings. She also loves to antique, so she is constantly hunting the antique store for cool retro gifts that she knows we would love. Such I'm not sure how many of you have an interest in antiques, I've left those gifts off..but I do know you all love Disney..so thought I'd share some of the Disney gifts with you! mickey

Disney Villain Monopoly - I didn't even know they had made these! The only problem is I don't want to play it and get it dirty! So I'm thinking I might frame it up in a shadow box somehow... the token pieces are really neat, they are made of metal and it has the Evil Queen's Crown, the Mad Hatter's Hat, Maleficent's Horns, and more. Even the money has the Villains on it.

Jan, You don't have to twist my arm! I will add some antiques after the Disney is loaded up. My computer's running slow today and we have a storm rumbling in the distance so hoping we don't lose power. waiting

Disney's Official reproduction of the Original Evil Queen's mirror. This has been on my want list for sometime but you have to find it on ebay or an after market area as it's out of production.

The glass also comes out of the frame so it can be used for a picture frame.

A Tervis insulated Villains Cup (I haven't seen these either, I must get out more~). It features The Evil Queen, Maleficent, and the Cheshire Cat.

Moving on to our favorite rat, Remy from Ratatouille. Ratatouille pieces are getting harder to find...most have to be picked up second hand or at online stores. Yes, this cookbook says "kid's" but I guess I'm just a big kid after all so it's perfect.

This came in a huge box that is made to look like a book. Inside is all the great characters from Rataouille. Complete with thread so it can be hung on the Christmas Tree.

Finngirl- the Monopoly game shows its made by Hasbro, it was a new, sealed box- and has the date 2010 on the back. The back has the Disney stamp and it says "The Disney Theme Park Edition" Disney Theme Park Merchandise Lake Buena Vista. There is a website that says usaopoly.com. I would expect my MIL probably bought it off Ebay....

The villains monopoly is sold in Hollywood Studios at Villains in Vogue for sure, possibly the Emporium in Mk and possibly World of Disney at DTD.

Those are great gifts! I'm glad you guys could finally celebrate together!

I need that Monopoly game. Only I would play with it. It's too cool not to play with it.

I also love all the Ratatouille stuff. I'm a huge fan; I have Remy and Emile stuffies in my kitchen to supervise the cooking.

Finally, I agree with the consensus that you have an awesome mother-in-law.
