I thought we might have a little fun with this. It's not a game to test your knowledge, but rather to test your taste!

One person will post a link to a menu of a restaurant at WDW, and someone will reply with what they would order if they were there right now, ready to order. Then, that person can post a link to the menu of their choice.

I'll go first and post a link to Jiko

This is my favorite game ever:

Jiko--
Spiced
Briouats
- Pulled beef rolled in Naan with tomato-date jam
$9.00
Oak-Grilled
Filet Mignon
- with Macaroni & Cheese and Red Wine Sauce $39.00 (I'm a sucker for the mac and cheese)
House-Made
Meyer Lemon Curd
- With pomegranate and blueberry compote,
white chocolate biscotti, and sour cream ice cream $8.00

Next menu is for someplace I haven't eaten yet:

Kouzzina Menu -- official on Disney Site
All Ears (to cut and paste from): http://allears.net/menu/menu_kouzd.htm

Somehow, this game has lost it's appeal for the moment as I've just finished dinner and am no longer hungry. laugh

I love your choices Bali. We'll actually be eating at Jiko in about 10 days. mickey

Kouzzina is another place we want to try, but it won't be on this trip.

I'll let someone else play this round, and pick the next menu.

There you guys go again. Bound and determined to make my wallet smaller and my waistline bigger.

I LOVE fresh strawberry shortcake. Wife and I have started making strawberry shortcake at home using the recipe on the Bisquick box and I have to tell you, it's awesome!

I didn't recognize those Turf Club Bar and Grill dishes, so I didn't know where they were from. I have tot say that I've never gone there and now my interest is piqued. At Raglan Road:

Chicken Lickin' - Whiskey marinated chicken skewers with a Dalkey honey mustard dipping sauce

Kevin's Ham
- Chef Kevin's signature dish. Oven-roasted loin of ham with an Irish
Mist glaze. Served with braised cabbage and creamed potato

Bates Banagher Banoffi Beauty - Caramel base. Add banana with our special secret sauce. Top it off with fresh cream. Feel free to weep

Dessert was hard, I think they all sound good. How about here:

I would order the Parrillada de Mariscos (skillet of seafood) and skip the appetizer and dessert because I'm sure the skillet would be more than enough food.

We ate at Olivia's Cafe at Old Key West on our recent trip. What would you order there?

From Olivia's, I would order the Key West Salmon Salad. It smells like the ocean in my street right now, so I'm craving some fresh seafood! Jeff would get the Island Barbecue Pork Ribs!

What would you get from Beaches & Cream?? http://allears.net/menu/menu_bc.htm

Fun game, but it's making me hungry! If I were at Beaches and Cream I'd order the Grilled Vegetable Sandwhich and the No Way Jose....unless I had DH there to share with and then I'd order the Kitchen Sink! clapping

If you were lucky enough to get in early to the Be Our Guest restaurant, what would you order?

Years later I've joined wdwforgrownups (although I'll never grow up when it comes to Mickey and related topics/places). My bride Kathy and I have been on the Animal Kingdom Back Stage Safari and part of the fun was a trip on the "Savanah" at Animal Kingdom Lodge (though we went to all three Savanah's on the treck). Jiko was fabulous-o-sooo-good!!! mickey
So excited to be scheduled for DVC Member Cruise on Jan 10-13 and then another week at Animal Kingdom Lodge (Jambo House) after that. Spent last Christmas in same resort with entire family. Looking forward to just me and Kathy (and Mickey) this time.

One of my favorite restaurants is Narcoosees. We have a resv there on 1/13/13 with some friends who LIVE in Orlando. Tuna was my favorite dish there and French Pressed Coffee with dessert (who cares what kind). date

Hi and welcome kawaka! Have fun on your cruise!

From Sanaa I'd order the appetizer sampler, the choice of two platter with the Basmati rice and Spicy Durban Chicken and Beef Short Ribs, Bread Service with the servers recommendations for accompaniments, and warm rice pudding for dessert. Great, now my mouth is watering!

What would you order if you were at Flying Fish?
