Your Favourite Dining Tipple..

It's funny but if I'am having a CS meal at WDW ( depending where ) I enjoy a nice chilled beer...But if it's a TS meal, especially a fine dining experience, I really enjoy a nice bottle of vino..Although my favourite are reds, I have to go with whites as my DW is not a fan of red wine ( Boo ) ..So we settle for a Chenin Blanc ( if we can find a nice one ) So this year I'am looking forward to Artist Point as I've read they have a great selection ( Fingers crossed ) Also Jiko ( had a great African wine there before ) Not sure about The Yachtsmen Steakhouse, but I reckon they should have a good wine list..Anyway..What is your favourite dining drink to consume whilst enjoying your meal..?..

Really depends on what we are having. I like to stick with the theme of the cuisine!

Margaritas are a must with Mexico. Wine with any thing Italian or a nice steak dinner. I'm a red and a white fan. I mostly stick to reds in the cooler months and a nice crisp white in spring and summer. I always have Saki with sushi!!

If we are just plopping down at a restaurant with various items, I hop on the Captain and Coke with limes bandwagon. My go-to drink.

Brunch (and sometimes breakfast) the MANDATORY mimosa of course.

Sometimes I will just take wine no matter what it is but I try to keep it close to the food we are having!

Quoting the DH: "beer".

For me, I like wine and do want to try some at F&W, but I don't like it when they serve it in a mini plastic beer glass. Just not cool. A hard plastic wine glass, okay, I get that. But the taste of wine really is dependent on the container, so I tend to go with a beer I trust.

I am a wine girl but I am always game to try a specialty cocktail. DH sticks to beer. I am excited to try the margaritas at the Mexican pavilion this year.

I drink coffee, tea or water. The liquor and beer businesses would be out of business if they relied on me. Never have had a beer in my life (don't like the smell) and I will drink a glass of wine once in a great while. (Trust me it has been a great while).

Water here too. I do not contribute to the alcohol sales either- but more than make up for it in other areas- like plush, ornaments, cupcakes. Kitchen stuff....... mickey

There is a lovely rice wine we tried at Yak and Yeti that is almost a champagne in taste. Not cheap but quite lovely. We found it here at Trader Joes at about $10 a pop bottle size container.
As I said, quite light and ....bubbly

Pretty much water and nothing but (aside from coffees in the morning). I'll occasionally have a Coke with my meal, but not usually. The only ADR I made for my upcoming trip is Beaches and Cream so I'll probably get a coke with vanilla or chocolate in it, just because FAVORITE. I'll also have a drink while I walk around World Showcase, but other than that I stick to my bottles of water.

We had one of our best ever dinner experiences at The Yachtsman. I polished off a bottle of pinot noir which went with my prime rib just perfectly. It was called MacMurray Ranch. Excellent vino.

I like to try fru-fru girlie drinks. Basically, if it has a flavored vodka (or rum) mixed with some sort of fruit juice, I'll try it. If I'm not in the mood for experimenting, I'll have a Cap'n & Coke or a beer.

Once in a blue moon I'll drink something a bit stronger, but usually I want a glass of good wine with dinner. I prefer reds and might even pair a red with fish (merlot with salmon last Saturday, and it was good). I like the medium- to full-bodied reds best, including merlot, cabernet sauvignon, California zinfandel, Aussie shiraz, Argentinian malbec, and French bordeaux. I've had an awesome Italian super-Tuscan and will go with a better-quality chianti to pair with Italian food. Among whites I like pinot grigio, sauvignon blanc, and riesling best, and I've also enjoyed viognier and once had some incredible bottles of French chablis. Bottom line, though, I will try any wine at least once. Except cheap wine. Blechh.

I'm a cocktail/margarita girl all the way. I will sometimes order wine with a more upscale meal or an Italian dinner, but 9 times out of 10 it's a cocktail for me! awesome

I usually like a strong cocktail too... Usually whiskey and diet coke, but I always check out the drink menus and try to find something else that interests me (anything as long as it doesn't use sour mix, yuck, so margaritas are out). I really like a chocolate martini or baileys and coffee as an after dinner drink as well awesome

NHShorty & I are beer & wine drinkers, but a vanilla coke has always been a favorite of mine.

It varies. Most alcoholic drinks are too bitter for my tastes so it really depends on my mood, cravings and if applicable, who I'm dining with. If I'm dining with family, I'll stick to water. But if I'm by myself, it's more likely to be a soft drink or lemonade. Since Disney serves Coke products, it'll probably be either a Sprite, Barq's root beer, Fanta, a Minute Maid lemonade or Hi-C.

We don't drink alcohol so when ever he can get it my husband gets a fancy water and I try the signature non-alcoholic beverage. I really liked the Mimi Kaboom at The Hollywood Brown Derby.
