Especially when it's almost 100 degrees and under the sun. I've seen this in such awful conditions, but they still perform as if nothing is going on. That's why I admire these cast members.

Very good question. In fact, here's a [url=]video that I took of them[/url]. This was videotaped in the middle of June, so you can image how hot and humid the day was. Dancing in such a day wearing all that costume... .you just marvel that they can do this day in, day out.

Here's one I didn't even know was artistic until I read recently that the "temple" was built to mimic the peaks of Everest behind it!

I was there as well! It was a DVC/Passholder preview weekend, and I flew in just for that! I rode it at at least 6 times, and got 6 lanyards and 6 commemorative pins. It was a lot of fun!

I thought it was so exciting to be part of that brand new ride! I flew in especially for the weekend as well; it was a really fun and spontaneous trip.

This was brought up on a backstage tour. As an Onstage performer Disney knows how long it will take you to sweat or wear down in any costume and any weather. (They have set rules for this) When you time is up you are taken backstage to a cooling area.
(Never let them see you sweat.)
