Another picture that satisfies Brad's requirement - flowers, but no people. Smile

Bridge by the Odyssey center? And were those flowers F&G Festival additions or are they always there? Very pretty.

I think I have that same exact picture! (I always seem to get stuck on that ride right in that room...which is always, oddly, very HOT.)

FYI: If you look just a few degrees to the right of that photo, there's a hidden mickey!

You have the picture of the hidden mickey?

Zz.

Now that I think about it, it might be earlier in the ride. But you can see Kanga's tail in this pic, so maybe it's the same scene:

Here's the full picture:

And here's as close as I could zoom in on the Hidden Mickey. The "tomato vine" sign--to the left of the "Letus" sign--has a hidden mickey tomato:

I must admit, I'm not seeing it too well.

Still, if you want Mickey tomato, I got plenty!

I think you're just one of those crazy Hidden Mickey people who think they see them everywhere.

That's awesome. Do you have a shot like that for the Astro Orbiter? How long was that exposure?

No, unfortunately, I've never ridden AstroOrbiter at night, so I don't have a similar shot like that of it.

I don't know. I only have a point-and-shoot camera, remember? I have no manual control over the exposure time. I did set this to "manual" mode and set the ISO to 100, and the flash turned off. The rest was up to my trusty Canon Digital Elph. I did, however, used the railings in the waiting area of Dumbo to steady the camera.

Interesting, so that was without tripod too. I was imagining that you had set up a tripod and people were looking at you funny. I agree that a similar Astro Oribter shot would be really interesting. You could take it from the ground so you'd get all the planets rotating as well as the rocket ships.

That's a wonderful perspective. I love when subjects are framed by trees.

Ha!!

There's also a Segway Tour at Fort Wilderness, right? I'd be more scared of that one--do they take you through the woods? Speaking of crashing into things!

It was a lot of fun, and I would recommend it. But if you want to do it, do the early ones before World Showcase opens. If you do it after it opens, you can't go around the pavilion and the gardens because they don't want you to run over other guests. Smile

Besides, they give you a pin at the end of it. What more could you want? laugh

I know, I love thease statutes. They are rather hidden and most people don't make it down that way.. I like the tin toy museum, but it's hard to take pictures of stuff behind glass.

ZapperZ - cool Dumbo photo! (post 549)

Admin - re the antenna toppers - I'd love to get more of them, but I don't like what they do to my antenna... it flops around like mad with one of those on there and I'm worried it's gonna break off. But they're becoming quite the collectable. Does anyone here collect them? If so, how do you display them?

ZapperZ - I got in such trouble on the Segway WS tour. I got pretty comfortable on the Segway pretty quickly and was doing the "experience" thing in Innoventions every time we went down. So by the time I did the tour I was REALLY comfortable. And didn't really need to use the handlebars. And wanted to take pictures of an empty WS. But the guides said I had to keep my hands on the machine. So I kept trying to sneak in a picture or two. They were very polite, of course... this is Disney. But I was definitely their "problem guest" for that tour. Surprise, surprise, huh?

Sara - love the Samurai pic!!! Great lighting!!!!

Disney tourguides must hate crazies like us! I'd probably want to go off by myself and explore WS during that tour. They should have a tour where you just pay to poke around a park when it's closed. laugh
