greebil : Oh course there are more things that I miss other than Just the Matterhorn. Disneyland just has a different feel and smell to me. I think I was dissapointed because as a child you are in wonder and awe of everything, everything is magical and wonderful. I grew-up in Cali and moved to Fl about 10 yrs ago, before moving I hadn't been there in about 8 yrs so I was very young and went back as an adult. I would have rather have not gone back just so I could hold onto the memories of churros, mint juleps in new orleans sq. and captin e.o. and other things as well.. mostly they are all just the happy times as a child you don't want to let go of.

Those are all really good points. Sometimes when you have a great memory it's best to leave it alone so you don't contaminate it. It's even kind of true with WDW. Every time they change something, even just the menu at a restaurant, it doesn't seem quite the same as the WDW you remembered.
