The Mickey Awards! How fun! It's so weird how you can walk by something a million times and not pay any attention to it at all until someone shows you a photo of it. Really isolates items from the rest of the Disney World "blur" that sets in.

It's one of the "sculpture/statues" that they had during a Flower and Garden Festival. I don't know what it is exactly either.

Not sure if this is artistic or not, but a few years ago, I participated in another photo contest in which it was called a "wallpaper contest". In such a contest, you're encourage to use your creativity in editing your photo as much as you want and use any special effects to produce a photo what one would want to use as a computer wallpaper.
Well, I am not that artistic or even that creative, but I sent one anyway. I forgot how well I did, but I don't think there were that many entries, and I did place either 2nd or 3rd. This was my entry:
