The new B Hotel will feature 394 redesigned rooms - including 20 family-friendly rooms with bunk beds. Dining options will include a barbecue restaurant as part of a partnership with Jeffrey Chodorow from China Grill Management.
Guests at the B Hotel will be able to relax and unwind the company's first full-service B-Indulged spa.
And in the guest rooms, you'll find the brand's plush green frogs that are part of the hotel's B Humane program. Guests have the option to adopt the stuffed animals at check out with a portion of the proceeds going to a Florida environmental foundation.

I stayed at the Royal Plaza in early March this year and it was awful....what a dump. Glad to see that something nice is taking it's place.

My first experience with Disney began in 1988. I stayed at the Royal Plaza Hotel. It was a wonderful place to stay along International Dr. I later stayed using the backpack discounts associated with Westgate Resorts for the following 7 years. I then bought a DVC membership in 1995. I remember the quality service the Royal Plaza provided for it's guest. I did notice in the early 90's the hotel showed evidence of excessive wear and the discounted rates brought in many of the youths from South America which was wonderful but they were loud, hung out in the corridors, jumping and stomping noises over head in room and units to the point it was unbearable. I finally abandoned the thought of defying there in 1995. I had fond memories of the Royal Plaza and I took a stroll down to see it in July 2013. It appears that some construction was in progress. I was so happy to see that efforts to bring the hotel back was in progress. I had my first visit to Disney at the age of 42 and my daughter st age 2. So happy that Disney is taking over the hotel. It's a grand hotel in an excellent location and it will always be my gateway to the happiest place on earth-WDW. I am so happy that Disney saw the beauty and character the hotel brought to downtown Disney.
