Yesterday the Disney Parks Blog confirmed rumors that have been swirling for months, and announced updates and expansions for two of the most popular attractions in the Disney Parks!
In Epcot's The Land Pavilion a new screen will be added to share the high-flying adventures of Soarin' with more guests than ever. Not only will they be expending capacity of the attraction (hopefully making the lines to wait for the ride much shorter) but fans will also be able to enjoy updated screens and brand new projection system that will make the experience feel more real than ever.
Over at Disney's Hollywood Studios, the third track Toy Story Midway Mania has finally been made official. This interactive 4D attraction has battled long lines and FastPass outages ever since its debut in 2008. The addition of the third track will surely be a benefit to the Park's flow of traffic while allowing more guests to enjoy the carnival of fun.
Disney said that these updates should be completed by late 2016 there is currently no downtime expected for either of the existing attraction attractions while the construction occurs. As with all things Disney, that could change as needed.
