Disney's Hollywood Studios is home to thrilling rides, exciting shows, and some of the best character meet-and-greets at Walt Disney World.
Sure, you can meet Anna and Elsa at the Magic Kingdom and you can say hello the many Disney princesses at Epcot, but if you're looking for movie stars from Disney's hit films and television shows, the Studios is the place to be.
The Studios is home to a great character meal at Hollywood & Vine. Disney Junior fans and their grownups can meet their favorite characters at breakfast and lunch, including Jake from Jake and the Never Land Pirates, Handy Manny, Doc McStuffins, and Sofia the First.
Speaking of Disney Junior stars, your little ones can also meet Jake and Princess Sofia outside the doors of Stage 5 in the Animation Courtyard. The pirate and princess-in-training are ready to meet their fans for photos, autographs, and hugs. After meeting the characters, head inside Stage 5 for Disney Junior LIVE! On Stage.
While you're hanging out in the Animation Courtyard, stop by the Magic of Disney Animation. Not only can you try your hand at animation, but you might also bump into Minnie Mouse in her "Star Dressing Room." It's a great meet-and-greet for all of Minnie's fans.
But perhaps the biggest "draw" at the Magic of Disney Animation (see what we did there?) is the chance to meet Sorcerer Mickey! Yes, that's right. Everyone's favorite apprentice can often be found under a Hollywood Studios archway, ready to meet his fans. If you're a Mickey fan this a must-do character meeting.
Two other dynamic duos that can be found at the Magic of Disney Animation are Ralph and Vanellope from Wreck-It-Ralph, and Frozone and Mr. Incredible from The Incredibles! Better have those autograph books ready.
If you're looking for some "traditional" Disney characters that are stars in their own right, look no further than near the Sorcerer's Hat. On any given day you might find Donald Duck and his girl Daisy Duck, Pluto, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Chip 'n' Dale, and even Stitch.
While you're walking through Pixar Place, perhaps to catch your FastPass+ time for Toy Story Midway Mania, look for the Green Army Men. They're occasionally hanging out across from the attraction and they're fun to meet and snap a photo with.
Buzz Lightyear and Woody can also be found in Pixar Place. They have a nice air-conditioned area across the way from Toy Story Midway Mania. This is a fun meet-and-greet location as the "toy size" theme carries over from the TSMM queue: the meet-and-greet area looks like you're standing on Andy's bed!
After spending some time touring the backlot of the Studios, make sure you stop by and visit Mike and Sulley from Monsters, Inc. and Monsters University. Another pair of best buds (and brothers) who are ready to meet their fans are Phineas and Ferb, and they are located near the MuppetVision exit.
Also located near the MuppetVision exit is Luigi's Garage where you'll find Lightning McQueen and Mater.
And of course we can't forget all the intergalactic characters you'll meet each spring during Star Wars Weekends. In addition to Chewbacca and Darth Vader, you will also run into the Stormtroopers. They're more than happy to pose with guests and sign autographs. The kids can also meet Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers at the Jedi Training Academy.
As with all character meet and greets, be sure you check the daily Times Guide for the most up-to-date information on character meet-and-greet times and locations.
