Miss Adventure Falls Officially Opens at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon

The newest Disney water park attraction, Miss Adventure Falls, officially opened on March 13 at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. And then, due to colder-than-normal temperatures in Orlando, the water parks were closed on March 14, 15, and 16. But let's check out this new attraction!

Duncan the parrot joins in the fun at Miss Adventure Falls

The new attraction tells the story of Captain Mary Oceaneer, a world-famous oceanographer and member of the Society of Explorers and Adventurers (S.E.A.) who traveled the seas to collect treasures. Captain Mary, along with her pet parrot, was stranded at Typhoon Lagoon during a storm.

Guests on Miss Adventure Falls will be transported in their raft to the top of the slide " a first at a Florida water attraction.

During the ride guests will see Captain Mary's parrot Duncan, who just happens live inside the shipwreck.

With a ride time of two minutes, Miss Adventure Falls is the longest water ride at Disney World.
