There is some exciting restaurant news to report! If the rumors are true (and we hope they are), there just might be a new Jungle Cruise-themed restaurant coming to Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom. The rumored spot would be located at the Adventureland Veranda, right next to the new location of the Sunshine Tree Terrace.
Back in the day, that location was home to the Adventureland Veranda Restaurant sponsored by Kikkoman. More recently the area was used as a meet-and-greet for Tinker Bell and friends, and also for Peter Pan and Wendy, and Lilo & Stitch. And a few years ago it was home to a meet-and-greet with Captain Jack Sparrow!
According to our friends at the Disney Food Blog, new restaurant might have a theme centered around the Jungle Cruise skippers!
There's no official word yet on what the menu might look like or whether it'll be all table service, all counter service or a mixture of both.
While Disney has not yet confirmed this new restaurant it appears likely that it could be open later this year.
What do you think about the rumored new restaurant in Adventureland? Let us know what you think in the comments.

I think that they should complete Disneys dreams by having the tiki room converted back to a sit down dinner and theater show ..
