Pumpkin Bread Pudding From Homecomin' Florida Kitchen

The every day desserts at Art Smith's Homecomin' Florida Kitchen, are honeyed and decedent. Chef's Heirloom Pecan Pie, famous Hummingbird Cake, and the big time boozy Shine Cake are certainly on my must indulge list. However now, for a limited time, there's a new seasonal sweet on the menu that is sure to bring Guests through the door.


Pumpkin Bread Pudding At Homecomin' Florida Kitchen


Add in a stop to Chef Art's during your holiday trip for a taste of the Pumpkin Bread Pudding. Bread Pudding is a medieval comfort food with the most humble of origins, but the American South adopted bread pudding as its own and today you'll find gourmet versions on even the trendiest of menus.

Chef Art has more than one great bread pudding recipe up his sleeve, and this pumpkin version brings that great fall flavor to the forefront in a warm and soothing bite. While I'm all about the pudding, it's worth mentioning this seasonal hug in a dish is topped with whip cream, rich vanilla bean ice cream, and a pretty caramelized sugar tuile that brings it all together. The specialty pumpkin bread pudding is available at Homecomin' Florida Kitchen now through December.
