Retail MagicBands Give Walt Disney World Guests the Option to ‘Link-it-Later’

There is a new option for the retail MagicBands sold at the Walt Disney World Resort.

It's called 'Link-It-Later' and this option gives guests the option to purchase a retail MagicBand and link it to a valid theme park admission at a later date.

Before the launch of Link-It-Later, guests who purchased a retail MagicBand had to link it at the time of purchase with a valid theme park admission, Memory Maker card, or another active MagicBand.

The retail MagicBands are offered for guests who aren't staying on property but still want to use the technology associated with the MagicBands.

Guests can also purchase the solid color MagicBands as gifts with the new Link-It-Later technology.

This new Link-It-Later option is available at select locations at the Walt Disney World Resort, and off-site locations including Hotel Plaza Boulevard hotels in Downtown Disney, the Disney merchandise locations at Orlando International Airport, and Disney liquidation stores in Florida.

Guests purchasing a retail MagicBand can use the My Disney Experience account to link the MagicBands.

Grapic MagicBands, including the Haunted Mansion-themed bands and the Frozen character bands, cannot be used with Link-It-Later.
