The Landing at Disney Springs will be home to several new restaurants including Morimotoa Asia, The Boathouse, and STK Orlando. And now we're learning the names of some of the new retail locations that will also be calling The Landing home.
The new shops reportedly coming to Disney Springs include: APEX by Sunglass Hut featuring high-end sunglasses; Art of Shaving which sells high-end shaving supplies; Chapel Hats; Erin McKenna's Bakery; Havaianas; Sanuk which sells designer footwear; and Sound Lion where guests can find headphones and other accessories.
Guests will find designer flip flops at the Havaianas store and the location in Disney Springs will also feature an area where guests can create their own flip flops.
Erin McKenna's Bakery sells gluten-free, vegan baked goods and looks to be a spin-off of the former Babycakes NYC.
It is also being reported that Great Irish Pubs Florida, Inc. (the owners of Raglan Road in Downtown Disney) have filed paperwork for new construction. The company has not announced any plans for a new or extended eatery.
Disney Springs is expected to be completed in 2016, but the restaurants and retail shops located in The Landing area are scheduled to open this year.
What are you looking forward to at Disney Springs? Let us know in the comments.

I'm excited that they are getting more quality retailers in! My favorites are of course the Disney branded stores, however there are a lot of visitors to WDW that don't have major shopping malls nearby and this will give the the opportunity to have fun with some great brands.

I wish they would make room for the magic store that Downtown Disney unceremoniously kicked out a few years ago. A show, and then a secret room to teach you the illusion that you just bought. A treat every time we stopped in. Then, Disney kicked them out for a cheap crystal store... Ugh!

If they stop worrying about the healthy foods and remember what was great about being on vacation and feeling like a kid again. They need to bring back the old fashioned ice cream parlors. Make your own sundae's and baked goods made from real ingredients. People are trying to take away everything thing that was considered a treat and have a guilt factor with everything they eat. Bring back the good old fashioned fun that seems to be leaving faster than lightning.

Hey some of us who can't eat wheat are thrilled to have place to get gluten free goods. Its a drag sometimes when you can't fine anything you can eat. I'm thrilled. There's room enough for both kinds!
