Spelling Bee Winner Headed to Disney World to Celebrate Win

You just won the Scripps National Spelling Bee, what are you going to do next? Well, if you're 13-year-old winner Arvind Mahankali, you're going to Disney World.

Arvind won the spelling bee on May 30 after correctly spelling "knaidel" - which is a Yiddish term of German origin that means dumpling (just in case you were wondering). After being named the winner, Arvind told his parents he wanted to go to Disney World to celebrate.

Top on his list of "must do" things while at Disney World? Getting a photo taken with Mickey Mouse because the big cheese is the only Disney character he knows.

In addition to the title of "spelling bee champ" Arvind also won $30,000. His dad says that money is going straight into a college fund.

Now everyone, spell it with us: M-I-C-K-E-Y-M-O-U-S-E!
