St. Patrick's Day Offerings At Raglan Road
It might not be for a few weeks yet, but Ragland Road is busy preparing for a three day celebration of St. Patrick's Day that will include a special menu and live entertainment.
Thursday, March 15, is the kick-off date with a lunch at the restaurant prepared and demonstrated by Chef Kevin Dundon. Guests can taste each course, including hickory-smoked Irish salmon, roasted tomato and gin soup, and panna cotta, with wine pairings. Cost is $45 per person, and reservations can be made through the Walt Disney World Dining Line: 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3563).
Live entertainment is also planned, with a 6 p.m. concert on the patio by Murphy's Law and The Irish Rogues followed by a 7 p.m. performance by Creel on the main stage taking place both Thursday, March 15, and Friday, March 16. On St. Patrick's Day itself, the restaurant's doors will open at 11 a.m. with performances by Creel planned for throughout the day in addition to Irish dancing. Elevation, a U2 tribute band, will take the stage at 10 p.m. Guests over 18 can expect to pay a cover charge of $10 on March 17.
In addition to all the entertainment planned at Ragland Road, the rest of Pleasure Island will get into the Irish swing of things with face painting, stilt walkers and concerts on the stage by The Wyndbreakers, Celtic Wave, and Celtic Nova.
