Best way to spend "extra" money

If you had some "splurge" money that you wanted to use for a special occasion, what would you choose:

Another really tuff question. I voted for the fireworks cruise. We have done all of these things except the backstage tours. We have considered them several times but I do not want to know how the "magic" happens just yet lol. Maybe someday I will. Just happened to think of the Lunch with an Imagineer. If that counts as a special meal maybe I would change my vote to that. That we have not done and that is at the top of my list at the moment.

I voted for backstage tour -- there are so many of them and they're so varied!

Great idea on the Dinner with Imagineer, though, Scrappy! I'd LOVE to do that.

I keep hearing so many things about La Nouba that I just had to vote for that. I would love to see it!

I voted for the Backstage Tour, only because that would have to include an extra day at Disney, we can't do it all now in the time we have lately.

I'd be torn between a fireworks cruise or a backstage tour.

I was torn as well but went with Fireworks Cruise. I've never heard of anyone being disappointed with one.

I do my own free fireworks tour by taking the Bay Lake boat around 8:45 from VWL to CR. You get a nice view of the fireworks and it's not crowded at all.

Is the view over there as good as the Poly boat? Or is it just better because the boat isn't as crowded?

Haven't done the Poly boat yet but the Poly probably has a better view but the CR boat isn't crowded which makes it a nice ride.

I love the boatrides on Bay Lake. Too bad the marinas don't stay open late enough to rent a boat for the fireworks...

Where are you guys staying on this upcoming trip, Robyn? Any hotels onsite you've got your eye on?

You should try it! The value resorts can be pretty reasonable, especially with discounts.

It's much less depressing if you just ignore the cost! laugh
